Luke Mornay’s career spans songwriting, production, remixing, sound engineering, and creative direction across international pop and electronic music.

He began as a DJ in the Paris region before relocating to London, where he was recruited by Pete Waterman as a songwriter and talent scout. His early work with the duo Ruff & Jam included the US mix of Love at First Sight for Kylie Minogue, which reached #1 on the Billboard charts and earned a Grammy nomination.

Following this breakthrough, Luke collaborated with a wide range of artists including Robbie Williams, Amy Winehouse, The Killers, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Marianne Faithfull, Craig Armstrong, Frou Frou, and Axelle Red.

Under the alias Fortun8 Fellaz, his Chicago house–inspired work led to a signing with Southern Fried Records after catching the attention of Fatboy Slim.

After a brief hiatus, he returned to chart success with More to Me for the Belgian Idool finalists, debuting at #1 for five weeks and earning a Gold record.

Adopting the name Luke Mornay, he expanded his work into music direction, album production, and cultural projects, including collaborations with Geike (Hooverphonic), Lââm, and broadcast initiatives for Nostalgie Belgique.

In recent years, Luke has become known for high-profile remixes and mixes for Debbie Gibson, Kim Wilde, Ace of Base, Dannii Minogue, Bananarama, Fine Young Cannibals, and Shakespears Sister. His remix of Cruel Summer was featured in HBO’s Lovecraft Country.

Alongside his artist work, Luke founded Kulture Sounds, signing a distribution partnership with PreSonus and Fender, and creating production tools used by musicians worldwide.

As part of his work on NEWDAWN.FM, Luke appears alongside and collaborates with internationally renowned producers and industry figures, including Steve Lillywhite and other leading creatives, contributing to discussions that bridge decades of music-making with today’s evolving landscape..
